Tejaswini Sawant is an Indian shooter who represents India in international events in women’s 50 m rifle prone and women’s 50 m rifle 3 positions. She came to the spotlight when she was selected ahead of Asian Games gold medallist Anjali Ved Pathak Bhagwat and world record holder Suma Shirur to represent India at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.

She won four Gold, three Silver, and two Bronze medals while representing India. Apart from that, she also serves as an officer on special duty (OSD) in the sports department. Currently, she hit the headlines as he is a part of the Indian contingent being sent for the Tokyo Olympics 2021.

Career / Fashion And Style

As per her career, she became the world champion in the 50m rifle-prone event in 2010. In 2004, she won a gold medal at the 9th South Asian Sports Federation Games.

At the Commonwealth Games at Melbourne, she was selected ahead of Asian Games gold medallist Anjali Ved Pathak Bhagwat and world record holder Suma Shirur to represent India at the 2006 Commonwealth Games and she didn’t disappoint the selectors as she won gold medals in Women’s 10 m Air Rifle singles and Women’s 10 m Air Rifle Pairs.

At the 2009 ISSF World Cup, she won a bronze medal in 50-meter rifle three positions. She became the World Champion in the 50m Rifle Prone event in 2010. She won silver in Women’s 50 rifle prone singles and bronze in Women’s 50 m rifle prone pairs at the 2010 Commonwealth Games held in Delhi.

She won Silver at Women’s 50m Rifle Prone Finals and won gold at the Women’s 50m Rifle 3 Position Finals at the 2018 Commonwealth Games.
