He started his career in 1993 as a journalist with Zee News. He joined as a news anchor and covered many prominent stories like the Kargil War and the 2001 Indian Parliament attack. Then, he resigned from his post from the Zee News in 2003 and joined the Hindi news channel, Sahara Samay.
