Parul Dalsukhbhai Parmar is an Indian para-badminton player who will represent the country in the Paralympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.
She also has a long list of medals at the national and international levels. In view of their achievement, the government also honored her with the Arjuna Award in 2009.
As of current rankings, she ranked at the no.1 position in the para-badminton women’s singles SL3 category. When she was three years old she was diagnosed with Poliomyelitis and she fell from a swing while playing in the same year which resulted in a fractured collar bone and right leg.
Currently, she hit the headlines as he is a part of the Indian contingent being sent for the Tokyo Para Olympics 2021.

Career / Fashion And Style
As of her career, at the 2017 BWF Para-Badminton World Championships, she won the golds in women’s singles and doubles. At the 2014 and 2018 Asian Para Games, she has won gold in women’s singles SL3 and at the 2018 Thailand, Para-Badminton International also won gold in the women’s singles SL3 category.
In the 2014 Asian Para Games, she won the silver medal and in the 2010 Asian Para Games, she won the bronze medal. At the 2015 BWF Para-Badminton World Championships, she along with Raj Kumar won the gold in the mixed doubles in the SL3-SU5 category.
She won gold and silver medals in 2014 and also won two golds in Women’s Singles and Doubles in the Para-Badminton World Championships, held in Ulsan, Korea in 2019. Currently, she worked as a coach with the Sports Authority of India.
